About Harmony Clean ( via "Doylestown Living" Magazine)

House cleaning is a time-consuming task that requires effort and dedication. Looking to save both time and money? Hiring a professional cleaning service like Harmony Clean allows you to do both. Their expert team can set your mind at ease, allowing you the opportunity to focus on other important tasks and activities. Allocating the cleaning to trusted professionals can also reduce stress levels and help you maintain a better work-life balance.

Harmony Clean of Doylestown has been making homes sparkle for twenty-one years. Owner Vicki Brown, who completed Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Business program, says, “Being an entrepreneur isn’t as easy as most people think.” The competitive course is designed to provide both budding entrepreneurs and long-time business owners with relevant skills and experiences to enhance their company’s success. Brown’s business is one of the area’s most successful independent residential cleaning companies in the Tri-State Area.

Brown, who thinks of herself as a “problem-solver,” says she’s an open book to others in the cleaning industry. “Harmony Clean has allowed me to give back to the community through my involvement with SCORE Bucks County, as well as International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) Residential.” The company prides itself on its use of “green-friendly” products that are safe for people, pets, and the environment.

“We are so grateful for our past and current clients,” shares Brown, who adds that her team has enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful people over the years. Her dedicated office staff has been together for over fifteen years. “We keep it upbeat and positive. Some days can be challenging, but we work through them.” Brown, who has been married for thirty-two years, has two adult children. Her pet-friendly family owns four cats and two bunnies. “We love working on home improvement projects and traveling,” she says with a smile.

Speaking of fur babies, Harmony Clean is perfect for pet owners because their products are safe for use around animals. Their cleaning products are non-toxic, Earth-friendly, and free of synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, and phosphates. “We started the business due to our strong belief in eco-friendly products and our connection to the community,” says Brown, who adds, “We felt there was a need for our service in Bucks County.”

Harmony Clean staff members have all completed background checks, drug screening tests, and reference requests. The group also does its best to ensure consistency. Whenever possible, regularity is established so the same team can visit a home for repeat cleaning visits. Their “Smiles Guarantee” states that their primary goal is to please. In fact, Harmony Clean members even clean their own residences using the same products and techniques offered in the community.

With Earth Day right around the corner, now is the perfect time to schedule an appointment. Although Harmony Clean celebrates the Earth all year, April 22nd is a particularly special day. Earth Day was started by activists in 1970 as a response to an oil spill that killed thousands of fish, birds, sea lions, and other marine wildlife. Now, fifty years later, Earth Day celebrates the protection of the planet and the species we share it with.

When Harmony Clean was established over two decades ago, Brown knew that environmentally friendly practices weren’t just a fad. She didn’t want to call them “green” just to attract clients. She truly wanted to make a difference, and that’s exactly what Harmony Clean has done. Just like the Earth Day activists of the 70s illustrated, Harmony Cleans experts know that a business isn’t run for the sole purpose of making money, especially at the cost of the planet. Establishing positive, harmonious relationships with the community and making lives easier is what matters most and what makes Harmony Clean sparkle bright.
